׳The Jerusalem Andalusian Orchestra׳
1. Season Concerts:
Rumba Gitana
A vibrant Spanish concert that combines the creativity of Flamenco’s contemporary greats, such as Camarón de la Isla, Enrique Morente, and Lula and Manuel, with the riches of North African musical styles.
Participants: Alfonso Cid (New York), Shimon Sibony, and Mayu Shviro (cello).
Bonnes Chansons
The best of France’s classic chansons, Yves Montand, Charles Aznavour, and Édith Piaf dressed in authentic North African, Arabic, and Turkish music.
Participants: David D’or, Ella Daniel, and Ariel Bart (harmonica).
Persian Nights
The orchestra presents an extraordinary concert dedicated to Persian folk music spanning the riches of Persian musical tradition and Western pop music, which greatly influenced pre-revolution creativity in Iran in 1979.
Participants: Eliran Rostamian, Hadassa Yeshurun, and Liraz Charhi.
Mogador
A homage to Saliman Elmaghribi and Albert Swissa, an authentic Moroccan celebration, two giant 20th-century Jewish artists responsible for a seminal soundtrack that is still sung all over the world.
Participants: Neta Elkayam, Maxim Koruchi (Morocco), and Emil Zrihan.

Lea Shabat returns to the songs that crafted her musical DNA.

An exclusive performance to mark the opening of the Maccabiah games

Piyut Festival in Safra Square
Original production in four parts in honor of Yom Kippur
Participants: Miri Mesika, Mark Eliyhu (kamancheh), Idan and Elad Amedi, Moshe Louk, Nasreen Qadri, and Ziv Yehezkel.
Jerusalem Day, Tower of David
An annual event to mark Jerusalem Day in the presence of the mayor
Participants: Emil Zrihan, Orit Atar, and Idan Amedi.
Summer’s-End Concert
A performance dedicated to the work of Riff Cohen
Participants: Riff Cohen and Shye Ben Tzur.
Piano Festival
A performance in the spirit of Chanuka and Christmas.
Participants: Nizar Elkhater (piano), Eliyahu Avichzer (qanun), Sonia Masood, and the Esti Kenan Trio.
Moroccan Alliance
An annual event of the Union of Morocco Emigrants in Israel
Participants: Kobi Aflalo, Moshe Louk, Elchay Lagrisi, and Orit Atar.
Recording of two Piyutim for Yossi Azulay’s Album
Oseh shalom bimromav (He who makes peace in his high places) and Ya’Aleh Ya’Aleh.
Cairo-Jerusalem—Mekudeshet Festival
